Framing
statement of intent
I aim to produce the best of the best pictures to demonstrate and communicate my ideas and there meaning behind each image. At the end of this project I will choose and show my best most developed photographs and place them in this website so they can be viewed and hopefully my grades would be exceed my expectations thanks to my images.
For my theme I picked framing and the reason why I didn't pick light and dark not because it is hard but because I prefer framing and I am sure I could achieve a grade better than dark and light. At the moment I chose two photographers that have inspired me and I believe are popular in many ways and they are Robert Adams and Lee Friedlander. My theme is framing and I chose to this not because it was easy but because how I think it could be more effective than light and dark and actually have a proper effect or emotion on someone who sees it.
I'm going to use black and white because it will have an give a feeling that it was taken in past but it was actually taken in the present and that makes it more effective and powerful and it also creates this type of feeling that that the abstract of the past can create a stronger emotion than the future.Another skill I wanna develop in this project is that it's not much of a skill but instead a habit and its that I have to take lots and multiple amounts of photos/pictures because it makes more easier to find the perfect one than taking one perfect picture which isn’t even that perfect at all.
